In 1987 I started making chocolate completely by accident. I needed to make some small candy roses for a wedding cake. I was really reluctant to buy them premade. So, I looked for some very small molds to use, but was unsuccessful. After running out of time, I begrudgingly purchased four packages at a ridiculous price. I vowed right then to look for rose recipes that I could actually use that were easy enough and looked great.

That I soon discovered was easier said than done. So I finally started developing my own white chocolate recipe. I got the consistency right and after weeks of playing around, I finally had my first candy 3 dimensional rose.

On my next attempt at rose making, I had a phone call that required me to put the base petal down without losing it's shape. I found a toothpick to use that solved the problem. When I finally finished the call, the petal had hardened. I decided to wrap the remaining petals around it and the toothpick and I loved what I saw. I then started experimenting with different sizes, colors and flavors.

I then took it a step further and started experimenting with milk and dark chocolate. That was an adventure, but well worth it. The rest of course is history.

Since then my roses have been used as wedding favors, place servers, valentines gifts, hostess gifts, edible bouquets, etc. They have been featured at events at the Beverly Hilton, Los Angeles Country Club, and Harrington's to name a few.

Our roses are each hand sculpted for a uniquely individual look. The recipe is processed in small batches for a superior taste. We offer custom colors and flavors in a variety of sizes. All items can be express shipped and are available for local delivery.
